Connect Series | Women’s History Month Kickoff with Jasmin Arias

Kicked off Women’s History Month at Syracuse University cheering on the Syracuse Orange women’s basketball and connecting with @jazlv0022 Jasmin Arias at a KeyBank4Women event.

As a first-generation Latina, Jasmin turned personal loss into purpose. After experiencing how overwhelming and expensive funeral planning can be, she made it her mission to change the narrative in her community. In many Latino families, the belief is that “the kids will figure it out” and while family always shows up, that often leaves loved ones carrying unexpected financial burdens during their hardest moments.

Jasmin didn’t want to just sell insurance. She wanted to shift mindsets.

She earned her license to educate, create culturally aware conversations, and help families plan with dignity and intention. She’s building trust, breaking generational patterns, and leading with heart.

These conversations matter. Wills. Life insurance. Financial preparedness.

Preparation isn’t morbid; it’s empowering.

After losing my husband, I understand how heavy those moments can be and it’s why through JMR Visuals I’m intentional about helping people visually tell stories that carry purpose, legacy, and love.

Have you had this conversation with your family yet?

The Connect Series exists for moments like this, where connection turns into awareness, and awareness turns into empowerment.
